In this video one of our senior techs shows off her work on one of the most Bitten sets of nails weve seen (and we've seen loads).

Our 'Online' training program is now FREE just go to http://www.easynail.co.uk for more info.

People with bitten nails are the ideal candidate for nail extensions, but most technicians struggle greatly and get frustrated with the results because they want nothing less than perfection for their clients.

Also, the longevity of nail extensions on bitten nails is very short (no pun intended) and can normally be measured in a couple of days rather than the expected couple of weeks.

Inverted Moulds allow you, not only, to get a great looking nail extension on the nail, but also to keep the extension 'on' the nail, for much longer than normal. This gives the natural nail underneath chance to grow making the 2nd set or infill much easier to apply.

  • I am a guy and I have beaten up nails from falling off my bike then my fingers slid on the ground

  • @TheBadkid1001 guys can wear them too, in fact we used to have a few male guitar players that had them done on their 'strumming' hand. Just kept them shorter and used a clear acrylic so they looked natural.

  • Can you use the molds with gel instead of acrylics?

  • @mortilmange No sorry just liquid and powder acrylics.

  • can i ask if you get the nail extension, do you need to remove them afterwards? or you need to continue filling them?..

  • @lucialin0728 You can do in-fills if you want (the process is exactly the same as a normal in-fill) but with bitten nails because they grow so quick it's actually better (and easier) to soak them off, re-prep and apply a fresh new set. Its quicker (because you can pre-do the acrylic tips while the client is soaking off old set) and the look better and stay on longer as you have the advantage of the Inverted Mould still being in place protecting the acrylic, The mould is buffed away if you fill

  • i really wish i could stop biting my nails do all nail technichians offer this or will i have to search to find someone who will help me with my discusting nails?

  • @babymama160 It's a hard habit to break for some people :-( but at least we have a product that can help them :-) Luckily IM's helped her grow her nails back out to a normal length (wish I got a picture) but sadly she left her nails off just a little too long and then munched them all back down again. But hey she keeps coming back for her nails so can't be bad!

  • that's how bad mine are
