Man High Trailer

32 kms above the desert, on the edge of space, Joseph Kittinger stepped out of a balloon... for the next 13 minutes & 45 seconds he fell to Earth, breaking the sound barrier, terminal velocity and nearing death... His story has inspired the creation of this original music & film piece, MAN HIGH.

This remarkable and adventurous new work is by the award winning team Stephen Deazley & Martin Parker (composers) with original documentary footage of the jump remixed by Andy McGregor (artist & media designer).

MAN HIGH was premiered at 3pm on Saturday 24th September, performed by Music at the Brewhouse, as part of Space Wide Open, UNESCO's Glasgow City of Music family event, and then again at 7.30pm on the same day as part of Glasgow Music's Space Wide Open events.
