Our baby peach faced lovebird's first day after hatching

This is video of the first baby lovebird from my adult pair's second clutch. He hatched only a few hours before this video was taken and appears to be yellow/orange in color which could turn out to be either a normal peach faced (like his Mom, Houdini) or a Lutino mutation like his older brother, Chicken Little! His Dad, Lola is a Dutch Blue mutation but we have not yet had a blue one yet from this pair. We are expecting the one other fertile egg from this clutch to hatch within the next couple days and I will be sure to post video of that baby on his first day also! I will be hand feeding starting in about two weeks!

hi, can you help me please?

I have 5 eggs, one hatched last saturday and the second this thursday....what do i do with the babies now? Please help me with some tips what to do with the parents and the babies? thank you.

@5WAP Wow, congratulations on your new babies! For the first two weeks you can leave the babies with the parents, they will feed and care for them. If you decide to do hand feeding, it should start from two to three weeks depending on how comfortable you are and the time you have to feed babies. I would contact YouTube member Stargazrt4 (on my subs list) and ask them to send you their handfeeding guide. I used it for my babies and it will walk you through every step. Best of luck to you :)

hi there!! im jay 4rm singapore!! i need ya advice pls.. my peach faced love birds just layed 2 eggs pass 4 days ago!! the house they r stayin has no nest!! i have some sharded papers wif me now.. can i remove the eggs wif my hands n build a nest 4 them?? i tried givin some papers to the mom but the male bird is too playful n keep on snetchin it away 4rm her!! wat shell i do??
