Completing the National Dex

After much work and wasted hours, I've managed to obtain every single Pokemon except for Celebi. This video shows what happens when you complete the National Dex in HeartGold version.

The Venusaur that's following me is the oldest Pokemon that I have. I got it in Oak's lab on my LeafGreen version sometime in 2005 or 2006. It was pretty cool to finish the PokeDex (a dream of mine since I was a wee six years old) by taking a picture with Oak with my first Pokemon in the lab it's supposed to have come from.

If you suspect me of cheating, here's how I got all my event Pokemon:

Mew: My Pokemon Ranch WiiWare game. Hayley trades you a Mew in exchange for an Egg after your ranch has achieved level 25 (when you deposit 999 Pokemon). Most of the Pokemon I deposited were Eggs, Starlys and Bidoofs.

Jirachi: GameStop event.

Deoxys: GameStop event.

Manaphy and Phione: Pokemon Ranger.

Darkrai: Toys R Us event and GameStop event.

Shaymin: GameStop and Wi-Fi events.

Arceus: Movie Arceus got from a friend.

Special thanks to Debra Tompkins and Robin Sagadraca for taking me to get the games, Joshua Dillard (SHU) for the Arceus, Nick Butt (phoenix) for the Buneary, Sam Buchanan (spasmodia) for the Magnezone, and Ross Sagadraca for getting me into Pokemon by making me pretend to be his Pikachu when I was three years old (and also for the Kabutops that I migrated from his FireRed cartridge).

How did you get some of the legendaries legit like celebi?

In the description I list off how I got each of the event Pokemon (I didn't have Celebi in this video but I got it later on at the Gamestop event). I used a camcorder to record.

lol, i played LEAFGREEN, RUBY, SAPHIRE, EMERALD, DIAMOND and SOULSILVER all throughout the duration of this year (started about june 2011) coz i got into pokemon kinda late. finished all of them and got every single pokemon, except for a few, legit. i ended up only needing to buy soulsilver and borrowed the rest of the games. lol, it took him 5 years to do what i did in 5 months and this was my first time playing pokemon too! still, congrats man. i guess.

You are lucky as to get all of those pokemon, especially those event ones. I cant get those because i have no wifi nor am i in america, europe or japan, and i really doubt that they do these in NZ. I really envy you. Currently playing Heartgold and Platinum, and still striving to catch all pokemon in each, and i agree with you about not using action replay, as i dont like this kind of cheating, and plus, i couldnt enter the tournaments if i did, which would suck.
