@mastro82mp I willingly accept it, because science in itself is foolish and foolhardy. Granted it has helped the world. But if one cannot explain what was before the Big Bang, than it is therefore moot, and is not viable to be without a intelligent designer, i.e. God or a deity of that which one believes. Additionally, and this is not ignorance but truth, no one man can ever reason what God has planned or created. He is God, and therefore, won't follow human reasoning and science.
@xxchristswarriorxx1 Because water is H2O. It requires light to be strong enough to bond. No light- No water. Do you honestly think the earth was formed before the sun was ever here? Scientist have watched other planets form? why would "god" create our solar system different from the others around us? Can you not accept that perhaps the book was written to explain things that science at the time just couldn't and was written so brilliantly to control your thinking? Sad.
@xxchristswarriorxx1 Actually, A theory summarizes a hypothesis or group of hypotheses that have been supported with repeated testing. A theory is valid as long as there is no evidence to dispute it. To date, there is no scientific evidence to dispute evolution. Theories for the most part are generally accepted as factual, until proven otherwise. A law is a formula like Newtons law of gravity- but how gravity works is still just a theory. Read some more about it.
@mastro82mp I capitalized the word theory, because I know specifically what it means. It is a possibility of what might have happened. Not a fact. A law is something that cannot be changed because of the fact that it is proven to have happened. Even the biology and physics books explain that. And if there is a further meaning to those two words, then obviously they have one law for students, and another for scientists and therefore contradicts science in itself.
@mastro82mp IF at ALL POSSIBLE, you could understand that, although God created the world, he did it, without the exemption of human reason. God is not in any way restricted by HUMAN reason. He is a mysterious being, a deity that is beyond human reason. By saying that science proves his way wrong, is by belittling his power. And what does the water, before the sun, have to do with creation? I mean, obviously I'm not getting it.
@xxchristswarriorxx1 I don't think you know what scientology is guy. The more you talk in here the more ignorance you're showing in science period. Scientology is not accepting evolution or the big bang theory. Not even in the least bit. Does your common sense tell you that there is no way ever that there could have been water on Earth before there was a sun? Hell, that there was even an Earth here before the sun. The bible says so, but science KNOWS for sure thats not the case.
@xxchristswarriorxx1 Um, okay first of all- science has SEEN first hand Big Bangs in Action. We have observed other universes dieting and coming to birth. I see that you capitalized the word "theory" I think you need to look up the difference between a law and a theory. Theory to you and I are way different than how scientist see it. Theories are well thought out, well documented explanations for our observations, and are generally accepted by a majority of scientist world wide.
@xxchristswarriorxx1 Faith = Belief in the unknown. It's your faith, and its between you and whatever god you wanna believe in. Just keep the shit to yourself. Whats funny is when christians bash other people its because "their sticking up for what they believe in" but when an atheist combats christianity with facts in science and history were just evil haters who wanna bash religion.
@xxchristswarriorxx1 Cont) million years with homo sapiens being discovered almost 200,000 years ago. I'm sorry but none of my comments are myths. These are all in literature that is taught in high schools and universities the world over as fact. All facts have been taken from extensive research into these issues by men and women that the majority of people could only wish to be as intelligent as. For you to accept knowledge, you must drop your pre-conceived notions and put pride away.
