Richard Somers - My Untold Story (An Original Compositional Tribute To Opeth)

This was the first instrumental i have written and recorded. The instrumental backing track was inspired by Opeth so I made it as a tribute to them. As always the solos are improvised although my soloing style is nothing like Michael Akerfeldt. The solo in the first movement was recorded with an old microphone which made for bad quality sound. I really loved what i played in that first improvisation so i learned it note for note (almost) and re-recorded. Since this is one of my older recordings I'm not sure why I didn't made a video sooner. It was the hardest video to edit because of my vision of the video. Thank you for watching and Enjoy. Haha thanks man you rock too. I actually have 2 Ibanez soundgear basses SR-500 and 400 (both 4 strings). I've been meaning to get a 5 or 6 string and it will most likely be an Ibanez . Also the guitar I use for the solo here is an Ibanez. I guess you could say Im an Ibanez guy cause its basically all I play. I just love the feel of their stuff.
