This theme is inspired by an arpeggiator from the Waldorf Q keyboard which I programmed as sequence to be performed by the Q. At first you hear a bass-like sound from the Creamware MiniMax ASB. After that the Synthesizers.com Modular and the self built Modular are added. At last the sequence from the Waldorf Q Keyboard is added. By varying the decay on the Q the sound becomes more lively. The accompaniment is played on the Clavia Nord Lead 1 and the Roland XP-80.

  • how many keys on the waldorf? 61?

  • @Synthesized13 Yes, there are 61 keys on the Waldorf Q Keyboard.

  • how do you syncrhonize everything - that is, what is your master clock and how is that then routed?

  • The Waldorf Q is the master and drives the Doepfer MAQ16/3 with MIDI clock. You see in the beginning of the video that I start the sequencer on the Q Keyboard which also starts the Doepfer.

  • I like it, do you have MP3s somewhere?

  • Well, there is an MP3 in the demo section on my website called 'Idea_03-10-2009.mp3' on which this video is based.
