Deadly Harvest: E. coli disaster whips up new health hysteria

Germany is considering EU aid for Spain after it wrongly accused the country's cucumbers of causing the deadly E. coli outbreak. It has so far claimed 19 lives, most of them in Germany. The negative publicity over Spanish produce has destroyed the country's vegetable exports. And as Laura Emmett reports, it may mean another round of global hysteria.

Oh come on.. just wash your hands and wash your vegetables, for crying out loud! This is like the basics of cooking. And don't buy your salads ready-to-eat, make them yourself! I lived in Germany, for a few months, and i have to admit this was a disaster that was meant to happen sooner or later. They rarely cook their own food; they eat a lot of canned food; pickles and raw vegetables almost always not peelled off and barely washed; raw pig meat. And a lot of them don't shower everyday...

I live in Spain and thank's to germany many people are losing their jobs and in some places the vegetables are free because they are rotting.
