Nice. Very functional drills which is what JKD should be. You can see they would work in a combat situation. That's what I'd spend my training time on.

@kths48 Sorry for the delay, I didn't see your post. I have an association that has proven very effective. We have a number of instructors who teach children the JKDU methods, and they just love it. And, they become better, more disciplined kids. I will do seminars for children. You can send an email to me through the website for any further information. jkdunlimited com Enjoy your teaching!

We train a similar thing except in stead of one kick we do technique plus three punches, Jik Tek, Oo Tek.

Yes, this is just one variation. The end can be anything you like, including takedowns. Enjoy your training.

Sifu Richardson, is the Shoulder Stop a Jeet Sao?
And have you ever trained with Sifu Rick Tucci?
XiaoLinLong 1 year ago
@XiaoLinLong Thanks for the questions- it can also be called a jeet da- stop hit- but most JKD people use the English terms. I trained Rick Tucci on many occasions in Princeton. Sifu Inosanto asked me to train him up to a level where he would be able to get the most out of Sifu Inosanto's teaching.
