This is a kick ass tribute record, all the bitching about how the originals are so much better because the sound quality sucks and you can hear the traffic passing by outside quorthons garage, etc. is just bullshit. Yeah, it's not the original but so fucking what? Just enjoy a good cover and stfu already!

@nebuncz Are you kidding? Gehennah had quite a bit in common with early Bathory and their songs were fucking excellent (sloppy at times, but are you telling me that is an issue for you?). Whatever, this is a band for die hards. Pansies and posers leave the floor.

Over and above being one of the few truly competent Bathory covers, this one actually succeeds in drawing something out of the song that's only implicit in the original, namely its' head-banging aspect. A job well done from a band that otherwise sucks pretty hard.
