Interesting how everyone dislikes cgi, it is time for the biggest non-cgi film ever made.

Yeah, I felt let down in a way cos I didn't find myself on the edge of my seat. I went and saw it again cos that pissed me off but same thing happened. Maybe I just missed the point and it's something you're just supposed to enjoy more than anything.
How you said the end was stupid has me a bit :S
Initially, I thought the ending was daft and thought 'no, this kinda thing doesn't belong in an Indi film' but when you think about it. It makes more sense than God afterall. To me at least!

No need to appologise at all, just a bit of friendly advice :)

You are correct, but think about it! Star Wars was an exelent film, but if you put those effects in this it would be as lame as the knights of cydonia music video. acutally, thats a good comparison and you will agree. Good band, good song, but the video RUINED the song. In indiana jones it is made by good people as well, good series, but the movie was not produced as best as the people that made could do. I think you where just a little bit too hard on the movie.
6/10 are you kidding?!
It was a good film! I know that a lot of people thought that (spoiler) teh aliens were far fatched but WHAT ?! It's a lesser stretch that God like teh first three. It beats Temple of Doom easily and imo about as good as Last Crusade.
Sometimes CGI is abused (most often it is) but how else can you have all those bus eating people and crawling in their mouths?!
It was good fun and a pleasure to see another Indi Film! I wouldn't be against another one lol
Just my opinion!

I'll say it again, just so you can understand. Indiana Jones and Star Wars are classics, but not cult classics, BECAUSE so many people remember them. A "cult" classic is a classic that only a few people know and like, get me? Like... Buckeroo Banzai, that's a "cult" classic. Bet you've never heard of it, have you?
There was no need to delete my comment by the way, I was just pointing out so you don't misuse the term in the future and look silly.

I agree to a point. Apperently you simple mind cannot comprehend the fact that this is made almost twenty years later, and the CGI could not be avoided well. Do you honestly expect they will use a puppet for the alien? This is the 21st Century. And they will not use MILLIONS of fire ants for a five minuete scene. The movie could be better, yes, but this is suposivly back in the 1950's! Unlike Die Hard, this is not gonna improve from Raiders of the lost ark. If you can't beleive this than oh well

Look mate I know it's the 21st Century. all films to got some kind of CGI in them these days ect but the CGI in is film wasn't very good could be batter but I got to say the ant bit look good. let's think about it. the people who work on this film are the same people who made the star wars films so come on they can do a better job on the CGI. I felt like watching 300 because the CGI look. but you make good points like I say it's love or hate film from what I'm getting off people I talk too
