PART 1
-----SELENA'S P.O.V-----
I pull up in front of Demi's condo and honk the horn of my new 2010 Cadillac Thunder Gray ChromoFlair CTS-V. I see Demi tie her black Converse shoes and walk to my car, she opens the passenger seat door and hops in.
"It's about time you come out, you take forever to get ready," I say as I drive away.
"Sorry I took five minutes just to pick out shoes," she replies clicking on her seatbelt,"So where are we off to?"
"I'm thinking Westfield for a little shopping," I reply making a right on Lincoln Park Avenue.
"By a little shopping, you mean shopping for five hours straight?" Demi asks me.
"You know me so well," I reply with a laugh.
I drive for about twenty-eight more minutes and at last I enter and park near Best Buy. I grab my purse and get out of my car, locking it and making my way inside the mall, Demi follows me.
"Where to first Ms. New Cadillac lady?" Demi inquires looking around.
"Hollister," I suggester taking the esalator up to the second level.
"Awesomeness," Demi says.
We enter Hollister and begin to look around.
"Look Sel!" Demie exclaims showing me a dark blue sweater.
"Cute...," I grin and I go look at some shirts.
Ten minutes later, we come out with nothing in hand. We decide to go get something to eat. We decide to go get Hot Dog On A Stick next to Target. We order two regular dogs and two cups of Lemonade.
"So...," Demi begins sitting down on a table as she takes a sip of her lemonade.
"Yea?" I say sitting across from her.
"If you take this job to work for New York Times, what am I going to do?" Demi sighs.
"I never said I would take the job, and what do you mean by that?" I ask.
"Well, Sel, it's practically your dream job, and when you leave, I don't know what I'll do without you...," Demi replies.
"Demi, you're one of my best friends, I'd never leave you, but I don't know, the job seems pretty big," I explain taking a bite out of my hot dog.
"Exactly, take the job Selena! You deserve it, because of all your hard work...," Demi says wiping her mouth with a napkin.
"Really? What if I don't fit in, I'll be lonely, and plus Demi, you have Miley and other people," I say to her.
"True...that reminds me, there's that house party at Nicole's place, kind of an end-of-the-year thing," Demi explains.
"Nah, I need to confirm if i want to take the job or not tonight," I say drinking my lemonade.
"Say yes, you won't regret it, New York is an amazing place to be," Demi smiles finishing her hot dog.
-----NICK'S P.O.V-----
I grab a large bowl and dump all the popcorn from the small bowl into it.
"Dude, your homemade spicy cinnamon-sugar popcorn is THE best!" Joe smiles taking a handful and stuffing it into his mouth.
"It seems like ever since you moved to New York from Los Angeles, all I ever see you do is eat, watch TV, and sleep," I tell him with a grin.
"Not true! I'm enrolled in The American Academy of Dramatic Arts if you didn't know, one day I'll be on broadway," Joe replies with a proud smile.
"Sure...keep dreaming man...," I reply.
"Hey, I support your crazy chef dream, you should support me," Joe complains eating more popcorn.
"My chef dream is not crazy," I pout keeping my dirty apron.
"Sure it isn't...," Joe laughs.
I sigh and look at a picture on the wall. I begin to feel sad as gaze at the picture of her with her breathtaking smile and her deep brown eyes with her hand interwined with mine as we smile together at the camera. "Dude...," Joe sighs looking at me.
"Joe, I miss her...," I explain looking at the picture of her.
"Yes I know, you've been saying that for the past few months," Joe says eating more popcorn.
"Do you think I'll ever see her again?" I wonder.
"I don't know Nick, haven't seen her in years...," Joe says patting me on the back.
