Nah, seriously, the title is not saying much. It's only there to get your attention.

Short attention spans. The independents want results.

In these six months, we see a trend that hurts Democrats and Republicans. Losing independents who don't follow the traditional Republican and Democratic voting trend.

Even in a super-majority, Democrats can be defeated.

Republicans and its allies in the conservative media are trying to seize on the moment.

Ohio, Virginia and North Carolina are souring on President Obama. Job approval in these states are below 50%.

Barack Obama carried them in the 2008 general election.

As an independent who leans left of center, I will offer a take on the issue.
