What made me laugh they were saying about Currys making the weight was the problem he lost.Well when he moved up he never exactly took the world by storm which all points to the fact that Honeyghan beat his arse in that ring that he was never the same again.So him not easily making the weight was bullshit.

Honeyghan won fair & square, maybe Curry underestimated Lloyd, maybe not. Although if you see Curry's earlier fights, his skills are very normal in this fight, why? Who knows?

Although the irony is that a former Curry victim(Marlon Starling), whom Curry beat handily, beat the living s*&t out of Honeyghan in '89 to lift the crown.....hmmm.....

Curry got beat. Plain and simple. I'm a fan of The Lone Star Cobra. Honeyghan just brought a super sized can of Ghetto-Strength Beat Down with him that night. And he opened it up on Curry too...

In fairness to Honeyghan he was champion for 3 years though......can't call him a 1 hit wonder......Curry was phenomenal, so Honeyghan can't have been all that bad.

U Brits are a bunch of whiners with an obvious inferiority complex. U folks might call Honeyghan "class" and a "great" but in the US, he's called exactly what he should be--a 1-hit-wonder! What I will give him credit for, however, is on this night he fought Curry exactly in the style needed to beat him--with sheer aggression, a lot of energy, and fearlessness. Unlike McCrory who chose to stand straight up and tried to match donald punch-for-punch. Curry was good, but he was not great either!

Curry was a great amateur boxer and a tremendous puncher but he was never a fighter and he was always going to be exposed by someone who could box, punch and more importantly, fight.
