Bathroom Remodeling

Six months in the making.
This is one of three bathrooms remodeled. The first two was done in 2007-2008. This one has a lot to do. Started in April of 2009. Everything original goes back 30 years before has been removed and disposed. I started with the floor. Laying down cement board, secured to the wood floor board, and the marble tile next.

The next is the walls. The tub/shower sheetrock was ripped out and replaced with the cement board. The wall tiling took months to complete. Plumbing was done. Install of toilet, vanity, sink, resurface the
walls for painting and ceiling painting, install medicine cabinet, install new light fixtures. And the finishing touches with framed animes of UFO Princess Valkyrie and Moetan.

I love my new bath. It's like never before seen. Many of my relatives love it too. All this done by one guy.

Beautiful bathroom but not crazy about the over-the-sink light fixture. The tiles are very nice and you did a great job on installing them.

@ldavis8 Thank you so much. That's cool you may not like the light fixture. There was one originally (off camera) that was small and takes two light bulbs mounted left and right. And the medicine cabinet was way

smaller that this one. I had visitors that like the bathroom a lot and with the framed anime pics.

@foxtrot77777 Thanks. I have another 20 by 30 frame anime of Princess Valkyrie on the opposite wall. It's off camera due to the lights glare. But, take my word. It is lovely as the princess herself.

Wall tiles are ceramic. Sold by an independent retailer of fine tiles from around the world. And it isn't cheap. Price tag of all materials estimate: $4200.
