@WickedCityBc How much have you listened to any of the artists I've heard? Muse is actually a favorite band of mine, and what about Dream Theater? Or The Black Angels? I actually don't consider Hendrix the best guitarist ever. He's amazing, I mean it, but there are better lead players. John Petrucci, David Gilmour, all of them. I don't deny Hendrix's influence over guitarists of the 70s and beyond, but I don't consider him the best. I never have, and I never will.

@WickedCityBc I happen to pay attention to these bands. For the most part, the individual members are straight, and a band itself, being a collection of people, rather than an individual person, cannot be gay unless every single member is gay. People don't usually question someone's sexuality without research, and a look at some of these artists prove them far from gay. Since small fringes of our society still use gay as an insult, that proves it the most likely connotation.

@WickedCityBc You really need to find a new insult. People haven't thought of gay as an insult for years now. Only the most bigoted people consider it a bad thing, and usually that's connected to religion. However, in case you hadn't noticed, the face of religion is changing, as is non-religious society. Using it as an insult only makes you look ignorant and bigoted. Moreover, have you listened to all the bands I mentioned? Because BLS kicks some butt, as does Muse.
