Betfair trading video - Detailed example of a trade

A detailed description of a simple scalp trade using Bet Angel on Betfair. We use a £100 stake and place four orders over two minutes, two back and two lay to create a £40 profit before greening.

The idea with scalping is to repeat the process as much as you can before the race starts. At that point you can green up to spread that profit across the field.

If you decided to green up the profit, you would win whatever the result but less money as you have to spread that profit.

how do you green up before race kicks off? without needing the horse to win to realise a profit.

@miketysonthegreat - On the ladder interface settings in the latest version of Bet Angel there is an option to display the trading profit column. When you have traded click on the column to green up. More videos available at betangel.tv

The idea of the video is not to discuss the technicalities of trading just to show the thought processes behind it.

We can put up videos of any amounts greened or not greened this but the intention here is to clearly show thought processes.

@ricardoespaniol I made £80 today mate, cant believe how easy it is, I'm not quite ready to give up work yet but if I can earn that without leaving my house, using petrol then I'd certainly consider it

By "greening" up it would have been possible to mak ean easy £5 profit across all runners at the current odds.

Unless greening up in running, in which case the level of profit will be substantially less than the £40 claimed
