god rehab with no drugs, (including no tylenol, ibuprofin, cold meds etc.) was a night mare. If anyone has any questions they can send me a message.... I been there.... And... The Sauna people in the video speak so matter of factly, like it's proven or they are certified.... The people who work there were drug addicts themselves and recently graduated the program and have no formal medical training instead, the only training they have is literature written ONLY by LRH.

Narconon is a scam.

@jnycnuk I would honestly advise people to seek medical treatment from a Doctor for something as serious as Heroin addiction. Methadone, Buprenorphine etc. Narconon has been proven to be dangerous and their success ratings are completely falseified and phoney; that is a fact...

TIBOR PALATINUS of drugadvior dot kom is a Scientologist and he's trying to cash in and entice addicts. He claims he's a qualified drug treatment advisor and he used to be an addict....yeah right! Check him out! SCIENTOLOGY IS A DANGEROUS CULT....DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THEM.

@11Jamie11 It's really not that bad. Narconon Doesn't sit there and force you to be a Scientologist. They let you be whoever you want as long as you are a healthy, sober, responsible law abiding citizen.

@dizzyntara LRH claimed that you can sweat out toxins such as radiation toxins by introducing high amounts (I'm talking up to 5,000 mg) of niacin and sweating in a sauna and do this everyday until you are immune to the niacin reactions. He then went on to say that this was scientifically proven by UCLA, an institution of higher education which he had no connections with. Contrary to this statement, I am thankful I went there.

NarCONon is a scam, like all of Scientology.
I called out of curiosity for an alcoholic uncle (that I don't really have) to see how much the price range is. $30,000 = insane. For 30 grand, this bullshit program better work! Anyone would feel duped if they spend 30 grand and then bailed. The other comment is so true, though, Hubbard made a career of quackery. He actually claimed you could cure radiation poisoning with niacin!

As discussed in "Hubbard's Junk Science", the Narconon detoxification programme is based on unproven (and disproved) theories. Unfortunately for Narconon's clients, some of those theories and practices have significant risks and have attracted strong criticism from the medical profession as a result. In this context, it is worth noting that Narconon requires its clients to sign a "Release of Liability, Indemnity Agreement and Contract"
