National Republican Senatorial Committee..are atheists?

I had to laugh at this supposed 'scare campaign' by the RNC about the 'Godless Americans PAC.

Over here the very same thing could be a compelling ad FOR the GA PAC.

I am sure any sane(non religious) person would agree....so, good on the RNC for advertising atheism and who to support....to americans.

With a bit of luck the morons will pay for banners on churches saying "atheists don't have to come here", next.

@whoo689 The "atheist platform" is this: not forcing kids to accept brainwashing through unproven philosophical bullshit like intelligent design masquerading as 'science', not subsidizing faith-based groups, not preventing people from exercising freedom of religion just because their building "offends" someone, etc.

I mean, technically most atheists are liberal on the issues, but I'm more libertarian. The "atheist platform" if anything, is simply live and let live. Leave us alone.

@whoo689 Now, yes, there are some more ridiculous folks out there of my persuasion who want to waste time focusing on trivial stuff like the pledge and "under god" in money, but frankly, the vast majority of atheists aren't like that. And BESIDES, who CARES if you take a few words with "god" in them from our money or hte pledge? That's just PURE SYMBOLISM. They're WORDS. It doesn't mean we're trying to turn all religious folks into atheists or anything like that. We want gov't to be neutral.
