That sounds like 1977 all the way!!! Sounds amazing! I want to learn heat you are playing in the beginning of the video, that riff you played with the wah pedal. Can you help me? Thanks
-
Are you playing it through that Motion Sound stereo combo amp in the background? How do you like that amp?

Holy. Mother. Of. Clav.
You must have been channeling Billy Preston. Send him my greetings.

Man, this thing sounds so cool! Where can I get one of these? And how much did it cost?

i think they stopped producing these in 1975... i just think, don't really know.. so if you're lucky you can get one of these on ebay... there are also other models E7 or clavinet DUO.. same thing but with extras ;).... if you're from EU you'll pay about 900euros, if from the states, a little more

@r3dmax I notice that Stevie Wonder still uses the Clavinet D6. He used it to play "Superstition" during his "Live at Last" show in London (2008). A lot of folks think that the funky riff in the song is played on an electric guitar, but if you check this site you can clearly see his main keyboards include the Hohner alongside other brands.

@zyzzyvacation sure, just for info (you probably know that), clavinet uses strings for each key. And it works almost the same as a guitar. It has 2 pickups, and the keys are pressing on the strings... same thing as if you would play "tapping" on a regular guitar.
