THE LOGO VIDEO - MAKING A LOGO IN WMM XP

Step by step tutorial on making a logo for windows moviemaker xp. From making the gif to the xml code. I used Paint.net. A free photoshop program. But you can use any photoshop for this. IT'S NOT FOR VISTA!!!! But I'll place a link below to that forum so you can check it out.

Sorry, some caps are a little blurry. Other parts are blurred on purpose because my personal biz was showing. I tried my best to explain everything that was going on.

Before you start you should have your logo already created and ready to go. A logo is simply a picture. That's all:)

You should also check to see if you have a AddOnTFX folder in your moviemaker files. I talk about that in the vid. If you don't have it then you should create a new folder with that name. The path you follow in order to do that is next:

Here is the path you'll be following a lot:

My computer---local disk(c) or(d) whatever your hard drive is----program files----moviemaker-shared----AddOnTFX

The logo gets saved as mylogo.gif as file type gif.
The xml code gets saves as mylogo.xml as file type all files. Both get saved to your AddOnTFX folder.

Although this is a recreation( I had my logo for months), these are the exact steps I took. This is a guide only, and you'll come up with your own short cuts. Please don't ask me how to do it in your photoshop. Or if you don't see the same name, the tools are basic and may be named something else.
