@neoprana I mean if performance is a issue, and I know JavaScript is not exactly fast and well formed anyway, then there are solutions that like using C or C++ to handle data rather than node.js (I don't like it) or PHP. Flash will always be a dominant player when it comes to multimedia, but if things with HTML5 keep getting better, I do see commercial game companies porting their Flash-built games to the HTML5 spec to get a much bigger audience or just a new field of ideas (social-aspect).

@neoprana I wouldn't say it was a joke; the whole technology is new and it needs time to mature. As long as there are people like Rob Hawkes, it is safe to say that improvements will be made. I condone HTML5 for game programming purely because I don't want to learn Flash, and I don't want to pay to start creating a game, and I want a bigger audience by removing the requirement of having Flash installed.
Things WILL get better especially with the V8 JavaScript engine.

Gaming with HTML5 expecially Multiplayer Gaming is a JOKE today... it wont work for 80% of all ppl because the browser do not suporrt somthing.
In 4-5 years maybe... the browsers are not ready... the code is not ready ... the tools to develop it are not made now...
