I never played Halo but I heard some of the songs of the game and I must say it's really good. The first that came to my mind was the battle theme when making this list. It's a damm good piece of instrumental folklore toward the end.

the spartan looked left and right surrounded by his brothers and sister this was the end and they would face it together united in the hope that this one battle might change the course of the war they took up arms and charged the advancing covenant army

for me halo has the best soundtrack ever of course there are so many brilliant masterpieces out there but halo has just so many songs on every soundtrack and all of them are awesome and most games only have their one brilliant theme and thats it..

Respond to this video... Halo is still "video gamy". It has imagination that games need. What it spawned was pretenders. CoD. Medal of Honor. Gears. All of you, JUMP OFF A CLIFF INTO MULCH GRINDERS!
