@3eyeswider id say he means your own mind

The biggest inspiration I received from K was to "not seek." I know he taught much more, but that's the teaching that resonates with me. This above all has help me understand myself and enhanced my awareness.

by putting the "house" in order... Does he mean.. Environment?

An extremely patient man he is.

I agree with your definitions fundamentally. I think it is misleading to think of being as an action or as doing something.
Thoughts are not 'bad', and technology is theoretically good but shown to have caused as much pain as benefit. Thoughts are where conflict arises. They create problems that have no reality outside of thought and they cause separation among humans.
Krishnamurti rejects institutions and societies and constantly asks that you seek answers from within yourself.
To sit here and argue for or against K is to misunderstand the message, not his message per se. The man observed and listened more than he spoke and so saw and heard it all. He cared for the living and was modest enough to say Be a light unto yourself. Wake up and live.
