Turkish daily Hurriet has reported that Israel is seeking written assurances from Turkey that the three IHH ships which it has in its possession, captured during the May 31 Gaza-bound flotilla incident, will

not be used for another blockade-running attempt before it agrees to send them back to Turkey, The IHH, which organized the ships of the flotilla, is demanding that Israel provide tug boats to tow the

ships back to Turkey. The Israeli Foreign Ministry has yet to respond to the complaint IHH lodged at the Embassy in Tel Aviv. Hurriyet reported that in past cases, Israel has required assurances only

from the organizers which send ships to Gaza, but this time Israel is asking for assurances from Turkey.

Still denying your genocides? This is simply sad. We live in the 21st century. If the Germans as one of the most civilized nations of Earth can admit that they committed genocide, then what halts you from doing the same Just to burst your bubble, there are many countries outside of Europe and the USA which have recognized Turkey's crimes. It's funny that you believe this is simply European propaganda, but hell even Arabs have come forth and spoken the truth about what happened.

I live in the USA right now btw, and here in 39 of the 50 states, the Armenian genocide is recognized. It was almost officially recognized by the Federal government itself, but that legislation was quickly overturned when Turkey threatened to disallow the USA from keeping its military assets within Turkey. Over here it is largely agreed that the genocide happened, but those few like McCarty are not very numerous.

  • @AVIATIO Lol You're a hypocrite. The Greeks have been committing genocide for thousands of years.

  • @AVIATIO eat shit.

  • @cypriot1965

Yea, this is true.... There really is a new-world order, and it tries to control all our lives. Sadly I believe the country in which I live now, is mostly responsible for it. But any way, good night from me.

  • @cypriot1965

There is no doubt of that in my mind. Whoever denies those acts is scum; both the British and French have committed their own heinous acts. Here in the USA, for example, land has been given over to the Indians because of all the genocides which these bastard Americans have done, but it still bothers me that many here will deny it. It is because of all the propaganda and their image. Yes, there is a double standard with some people in Europe, it is disgusting.

  • @cypriot1965

Well, that's an interesting point now. Since both Turkish and Greek Cypriots have the same culture except for religion, then what is the problem? Why can't you both live together? At one time both of you saw yourselves as brothers, so why not go back to the way that it was before? Every one can be happier and then no fighting will occur. But in order for that to happen, Cyprus must be truly independent; and both Greece and Turkey should leave it alone.

  • @cypriot1965

So basically you mean to say that there was a war between the Ottomans and Armenians--and while they were brought elsewhere--many of them died that way? Thus there was never any systematic killing?

  • @cypriot1965

No, I have not heard of that happening, however I can believe it because most Cypriots had no problems back then and saw one another as friends and allies. That was of course during the British years and what not.

  • @AVIATIO

The British and also the American philosophy pertaining to external foreign policy is "to devide and conquer."

This is from where the hatred and rivalry sprung up between the two groups. The British are the cause....

  • @AVIATIO

It is important to understand this. When the British saw that they could not maintain control of Cyprus, then they decided to stir up hate between Greek & Turkish Cypriots. This is when they encouraged the Greek group "EOKA-B" and the Turkish "TMT" to be formed. What they had intended for these groups to do was to cause and increase tensions between Greek & Turkish Cypriots so that the British could take advantage of the situation and remain on the island.
