I have honestly not heard her sing by herself before, and I have to say that this is truely one of the best voices I've heard in gospel. She's up there with Mahalia Jackson

One of the best kept secrets of the Caravans. Albertina sure knew how to pick the best for the Caravans.

This song brings back oh so many memories of Sundays after church & my sweet mother playing this song on the 'jukebox,' which is what they called the black & white combination TV/Record players back in the day. She played & sang along w/ this record for hours in her own breathtakingly beautiful voice. She also sang the song, "Trees" a lot. Thishas me in tears of joy & rememberance! Praise His Holy Name!

It sounds like the male voice on this song with Delores Washington is James Herndon. Am I correct. If so, where is he today, and is he still singing and playing?

Yes, that's James Herndon. He now resides in North Carolina.
