Mike Glennon - "The Future" NC State QB

Mike's passing plays in the Under Amour All-Star Football Game at the Disney Wide World of Sports Complex in Florida. The game and the weekly activities were covered by ESPNU, ESPN2 and ABC. He should have a bright future ahead of him in leading Coach Tom O'Brien's Wolfpack and many good players will want to be his teammates.

@MrModernWar ....not inthe next draft butmaybe the one after. Mike still needs to improve on a few things but he's only got 6 college games under his belt. 1 3/4 years from now....he should be more pocket savvy, put more air under some of his long passes (he tends to rocket them too tightly), maybe he'll gain another 20 lbs. of muscle. His arm strength and brain is there.....he just needs more seasoning.

@Andy7207 ...there was no doubt that Julio would be a good receiver....he just needs to make sure he catches the ball.

Yes, Glennon is now replacing a 3 year starter and former ALL ACC QB that passed for 3,563 and ran for 435 last year and has a 3 year passer rating of 135.5. Russell Wilson still wanted the job but could not commit to working on football while playing pro baseball. Keep your eyes on Glennon, he'll be a first round draft choice in 2013 and possibly the first pick.

Mike G. is the real deal and yes, that was an high school AllStar game. Thing is, NC State has the current best 2 QBs in the ACC; that's right, the best 2 QBs. After a post Philip Rivers dry spell and lack of talent, that's a good thing. After all it is football, not badminton. Russell W.(the ACC 1st team QB in 2008 and who's thrown something like 275 passes without an interception) and Mike G. are good friends and will compete well for the 2009 job. I was at a bowl scrimmage, MG lit it up.
