At 5:41, John doesn't enjoy being asked to abbreviate his answer. Man, don't let Peggy Cass near a Jesuit. She knows this stuff better than the priests at John Carroll and Fordham. This version also had Larry King on it before he made his name better known. King was featured as the host of an all night radio show in Miami who has battled compulsive spending.
This version wasnt that bad. The only thing that really screwed things up was the unknown host to Americans and the One on One round, which really cut into the maingames.
I suppose this "radio talk show" would evolve a couple of years later into a TV political discussion staple called "The McLaughlin Group", as well as be parlayed into a stint during much of the '80s as Washington editor for National Review.

Great video! Great to hear the sweet sounds of Alan Kalter long before "The Late Show". Gotta love McLaughlin
