are you seriously comparing Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift? there is absolutely NO comparison... although Taylor is a very good singer, and i am extremely proud of her. Carrie has it down! she is absolutely incredible and has a much more powerful and beautiful voice then Taylor. She is talented but i do think the age has something to do with it as well.. she is only 18 years old

I think Carrie demonstrates a very powerful voice, but her audience will never be younger kids, I mean it could be but she she has a broad audience. Whereas, Taylor will be listen more by kids and teenager even adult, maybe not so much older people, but these are the people who usually buys the music...soo... I love both Taylor and Carrie and I do not think they should be compared, each are talent in their own special way.

can u honestly compare taylors vocals to carries? it doesnt work. ive heard taylors songs, and theyre great. but when i hear her live or on award shows, i change the channel cuz shes not good live (imo). sorry. carrie > taylor times a billion. deal with the facts. the truth hurts. oh well!

i agree with lennox. They are both very talented and beautiful, but Carrie Underwood has AMAZING stage presence and voice, plus she's much, much, MUCH better live. Her voice just gives me the chills! it's SO powerful! i do enjoy listening to both artists though! :)

I mean carrie is pretty darn amazing! I mean.. AMC back to back Female vocalist. Her Grammys. Her 3 time female vocalist CMA. and so much more.

Shes just.. AMAZING..

And its funny because Carrie was like Taylor many years ago when she won the Horizon award. But right after that year she won best female vocalist .. Last year taylor won Horizon yet she's still being beat out by Carrie.

I don't want to say anything against Taylor Swift, 'cause I think that she is amazing, but just remember that Carrie Underwood's first album went platinum 7 times, was the best selling country album in 2006 and 2007, and still holds the record for best-selling debut album of any female country artist.
