This is my 'test drive' video for the Sony HVR-A1U camera. I was specifically interested in its low-light performance, and for the most part it delivered.

please please please please could you tell me how you created the effect you did @ 0:50... it is so beautiful... What type of a lens - film - zoom - fps - shutter speed - motion - colour correction (if any) did you use? I've always wanted to capture a shot like that... always.

I exported it off Final Cut Pro into ProRes, and the source file is still sitting in my computer, but I uploaded this video before Youtube allowed HD uploading. There's a 720p version posted as well.

My Sony A1U has pretty crappy low light performance. Since it's a 1 CMOS chip, why were you looking for it for its low light performance?

you forgot to set the camera to 16:9!(widesreen... you won't see those lines on the side)

I set it to widescreen, I just didn't upload it properly.
