NOT obsolete and very much in use today. FCC amateur licensing tests did away with testing for it in 2007.

@terrinakamura Morse code is still used alot its just not used professionally = Tune onto any radio amateur frequency..

Still used widely in aviation although now a days you don't normally listen to it yourself a computer deciphers it.

Morse code just can't ever be considered as obsolete because it is the method of radio communication that has the greatest range.
It can be understood in very bad condition because it simply is a (kind of) binary code.

Morse Code is NOT obselete... This is still the best method of communicating across long distances without much technology... i.e. communicating via flashes of light.
