Good singer, but not for every Animals song. You can't clone the Great Eric Burdon.

I like the music, but I'd like to see Steel/Gallagher recruit a better lead singer, someone who can sing more like Eric did in those days (not like he sings now. He's pretty disappointing to hear these days).
I agree with the other comment that this bloke sounds like John Goodman, the actor. Not on a caliber with the voice on the original recordings (of course, neither is Eric Burdon, himself, anymore).

Yes thats true.
But then he got replaced by Mickey Gallagher in 1965,and later Dave Rowberry joined.
Mickey has worked with :The Clash,Ian Dury and The Blockheads and Paul McCartney.

pete's got the voice according to john steel and i think he does it well ..he seems like a nice bloke when i met him a few years ago..keep it up guys ..i was laughing with john about his free bus pass..and mikey everytime we meet i end up fixing a piece of gear 4 ya.. keep doing the blockheads ....see ya round....all the best cosmic..........

This band was started by John Steel of the original Animals. They tour as the Animals and are pretty well known in England. It's practically a tribute band and quite good. Thank you for posting.
