  • Please let me know if you find it.

Yes, there will be some Depression gigs to support the CD release but it will only be Smeer and two others who weren't in Depression. I heard the gigs will be around March. John from Bastard Squad bumped into Smeer at a rehearsal room recently and they were jamming Money Chain. So yes, it's true.

  • hey i had this gig on cassette tape for years, great to see the footage. love Depression's Money chain 7" back then. does anyone know how i could get my hands on a copy?

  • The first Depression album has been released on CD including an extra 14 tracks. These extra tracks are from the various singles and LPs, inlcuding Money Chain. The only place that I know that has the CD is Missing Link Records in Melbourne.

Did your recording of this gig have more than 3 songs?

  • nice one! any more oz punk videos in the vaults? i remember some old i spit on your gravy stuff being filmed, be good to see if anyone has it.

  • I have some more Depression and some Bastard Squad.

  • l took Scotty to a Depesion gig sometime in the whenever on the bike , we had a good time and went home very fast , l remember going fast , but l dont remember getting home .

  • One of the best hardcore bands in my opinion.

I had the cassette some years ago but you'll uess it: it didn't survive the years.

Does someone know if it is possible to download Depression-stuff on the net?

  • this is the hottest fuckn band to hit melbourne EVER!!

  • No way, that`s definately at the Prince of wales. If you look near the top of the screen you`ll see the curve shape up near the ceiling. That curve/ oval/ archway shape was always at the ceiling on the stage at the Prince.

  • its at the seaview ballroom in st kilda

  • this was the year i first started to contemplate suicide

  • i've got the tribes of melbourne dvd, killer!!!

  • That looks like the Prince of Wales in St.kilda. Punk in Melbourne was at its peak here. This was the real punk stuff. Raw, anti establishment, undeground, and with the power of heavy metal.

  • Where's Liddy?
