  • @cyberkai99 ryan kennelly holds the bench press record for shirted and raw bench. 715 raw and 1074 i believe for shirted. the man is a total beast.

  • @Decimus77, I'm 15 yrs old, and weigh 173. I used a shirt for my 1st time 2 days ago. My RAW max is 265, I used a single ply, split back, shirt that is 1 size too big for me. I couldn't get the bar low enough to touch my chest (I did board presses) until I hit 275. 225 could get it halfway down. You've never been in 1 have you??

  • well, thats why ur not on youtube. because you cant lift that much. sooo......

  • Well this press was done back in 2001 I believe and this was actually 804 pounds (correct me if I'm wrong). Back in those days, super shirts didn't exist and I don't think many people did multiply. During this era, Ryan wore a single ply close back (or partial open) Rage X from Inzer. using this shirt, he benched up to 912 pounds. It wasn't until he switched to a 2-ply Super Phenom and gained weight up to a 355 pound peak that he was able to break the 1000 pound barrier.

  • FUCKING POOOSAAYYYYYY

  • Theres a similar vid where a different guy breaks his ribs...ouch

  • jesus christ was he even wearing a bench shirt

  • I thought Ryan could do over 1000 lbs. with a bench shirt.

  • The bench shirt adding an extra 225lbs to your lifts only happens for people who really have the technique down pack; and also are able to do well over 600lbs or so... aside from that, it wont help you out a whole lot.

  • Decimus.... 225??? really??? you've never even seen a bench shirt in real life have you????
