Thank you so much for uploading all of this! I am an avid Oz collector since age 4 and at 16 am still in love with it. I am also an actor, playing The Mayor and The Wizard in The Wizard of Oz and Underling in The Wiz. I hope to one day play The Tinman. So sorry for my lifestory, but I like to see there are other Oz-diehards out there!

Does anyone here remember how they did the transition from Miss Gulch to Wicked Witch on Ice? Also the Ruby Slippers on to Dorothy's feet?

@71crm Miss Gulch rode her bike into either the barn or the outhouse and there was a quick costume change. Dorothy wore the slippers the whole time with a flesh-toned cover that the Munchkins quickly removed when the time came.

She doesn't let her hair down. She still has her pig tails. Wonder why? Not enough time in between?

Well, it's not too fair of a comparison as you only see small clips of this cast. Also, there were only two changes in the casting from the live production to the TV special: Dorothy and the Scarecrow. Also, Bobby McFerrin took over the role of the Wizard. Anyway, I prefer the liver production as I felt the performers had better facial expressions and were better lip-synced to the soundtrack. Either way, it's all opinions.
