its not just the battle we celebrate its the glorious revolution in england of which the battle of the boyne was a part it was an important event in WORLD history when william became king he brought about radical changes in the laws and constitution the main one being THE BILL OF RIGHTS one of the most important political documents in world history it gave the common man rights that he had never had in ANY country before and paved the way for other counties to follow suit
why do u walk to celebrate a battle in another country 300 years ago? are u from Northern or Southern Ireland?,..if not, why do u march?...if u read ur history book, Northern Ireland was once part of Ireland til the Scottisj Plantationists moved there & forced people to flee, also correct me if I'm wrong, but wasnt William III Dutch?
