  • can u make a tut on how u made this...ive been trying to find how to make an open side jet stove like this for like 3 days now but only found one vid and its complicated... for me

    ty nice stove btw

what did u use to make the pot stand btw cuz ive been trying to make that same pot stand too..

  • Yup or a plastic Jug the same size as the can, it will be on the same shelf as the paint thinner.

  • thanks ill go pick some of that up is it in the standard can like paint thinner?

  • Use Methyl hydrate.. You can get it at home depot, in the paint section by the paint thinner.. Sometimes it even says pressurised alcohol stove fule.. It's 99.9% Methyl alcohol, the best stuff you can possibly get.

  • thats awsome ,

what do you use for fuel i use rubbing alcohol but is doesnt burn as good but mne is set up a little diffrent

  • These open top stoves need the pan to be put on top of the stove. This covers the large hole and pressurises the can. This gives a better hotter flame and it will burn for longer. Good Vid!

  • great first timer stove check out my FOSTERS version of the can stove!

  • very cool... thank you for sharing :)
