that means you can use it ALONE, , there are plenty of VST instruments that also are "stand alone" either effects !
and for your instruction: reason can sequence cubase also ! (that means that cubase can be controled fully by reason, the same way you can rewire reason to cubase, only using midi !

@tristanhiv you mean reason is too complex for you, reason is a sub studio. its ment to be used with Cubase, logic, or Fl studio as you said, but reason was never ment to be a full music program
