He brings out the strings in the string-percusive piano. I love the way he can play 3 notes and no note is the same color, it constantly changes. Kudos to Horowitz for raising this song from a lovely tune to poetry. He has it sounding like a brook in the woods in a purple midnight.

I saw Horowitz at Yale in the 80's...Sunday afternoon...fabulous performance. If I could relive just 3 days of my life, the would be one of the 3.
