The clear desk returns!

Pretty good articulation for its time but by no means the best. While the articulation is not great by today's Perfect Grade standards, its still better than most master grades.

Part 3 will take some time...But will be awesome \o/

  • 2:32 The beginning of Perfects Grades? Nah, there were two before it, the RX-78-2 and Eva Unit 01. Eva Unit 01 is usually not mentioned because 1.It's an Evangelion, not a mobile suit and 2. it was considered not very good and was outdone 2 years later by a high grade kit of Unit 01 that was one quarter the price.

  • @ndalum75 Good points. Yeah I managed to pick up the EVA Unit 1 about 6 months ago and thought it was very very interesting though not what we would consider PG quality based on its contemporaries. Question: do you know if the PG Zaku and RX-78-2 were released around the same time? Or did the RX-78-2 absolutely come first. I'm pretty young so I'd actually be interested to know...

  • @0083titans According to HLJ, The RX-78-2 came out December 1998, and the Zaku II F type came out March 1999. So they were released around the same time, but the Gundam did come first. I'm actually currently working on the Perfect Grade Zaku. Great kit, especially for the times.

  • omg you hurt it it cant walk now for "twisting his leg" joking nice review

  • looks like a good kit great review as always

  • nice review as always. i agree i have this kit and the articulation is ehhh but its a u.c kit so its all good lol

  • the early PGs were awesome even in price-point when compared to other old chogokin type toys (that still have a bit of a market). nice lookin kit especially clear, pretty glorious. clear and bulky reminds me of the clear version of the Monev The Gale by Yamaguchi (revoltech's star modeller)
