The CUTE Couple

At first, Apollo(Super Black Male Plakat)only chases Artemis(Super Black Female Plakat)around and wouldn't work on the bubblenest. So, Artemis gets mad and swims up to the nest when Apollo isn't looking and pecks at it, as if trying to get him to start working on it. After she did that a couple of times, Apollo finally seemed to understand what she wanted and started blowing bubbles. Now, Artemis decides that she wants to embrace. She swims over to the nest and starts flaring and trying to nudge him to start embracing. But now, Apollo is obsessed with building his nest, paying no attention to Artemis. He's so dumb, he's cute! LOL Anyway, then she swims off hoping he'll finish soon so they can get their grove on. :D

If he can still wrap around her, it should be fine. Just make sure she isn't an aggressive female because sometimes the males are wimps.

Yup. Eventually they had about 50 eggs, but Apollo ate them all up before they got a chance to hatch...

OMG MY FEMALE ALMOST KILLED MY MALE BETTA!!!! My male HAD amazing fin so big and nice but when i put him with my 7 females in 20Gallon community tank the male made bubblenest and evrything was good for 2 days but then 1 of my females ripped my males WHOLE TAIL OFF!!! he almost died! hi's fins are totally ripped off! :((
