Such a beautiful cruise. I enjoyed my trip on the Oceania, the food was delicious and it was a pleasure to be on.

Went cruising on the Oceana around western Mediterranean in May 2011 and it was wonderful. Our first cruise ever, I was a bit cautious about going, but was pleasantly surprised. Apart from everything being perfect of board, the organisation by P&O was terrific. We arrived at Southampton, car was unloaded for us, taken away and parked and we next saw our luggage outside our cabin. So easy and stress free. Better than horrible airports anytime. Can't wait for next year.

a class liner. Off on Ventura in a fortnight. Sick of people saying that cruises are just for old people! I'm 35 and have been into cruises for years!

I was aboard Oceana many a time during my youth. She carried me to both the Mediterranean and Caribbean. I have not seen that marvelous majesty of a ship since.

Went on the Oceana last August. I definitely have withdrawal symptoms. Easily the greatest holiday of my life (beats America, most of the Spanish islands and hell of a lot of Europe). I was 16 and trust me, it is a misconception that only old people enjoy cruises. The facilities for people my ages were outstanding. And made LOADS of friends who I keep regular contact with. :)

Went on a Caribbean cruise aboard the Oceana in October 2010 - absolutely fantastic holiday however it only really catered for the older generation. 5 day Atlantic crossing was tiresome when every bar, restaurant and theater on board was filled with the exact same plinky plonky piano music. After day 3 I would have happily chewed off my own arm for 3 minutes of decent music.

I was on Alora deck or something
is it one of the sisters of the princess sun class?

Yes it is really, its dimensions and deck layouts all the same, however the navigational bridge wings are different. Sun class ships of princess line have exterior bridge wings, where as Oceana's are interior. Its sister ship is Sea Princess! Thanks for your interest
