I forgot that Tyne Tees made this. Now whenever I see/hear the Tyne Tees ident screen/music, I can think about Chain Letters, and not that bloody Supergran.
-
Great intro!

One of the singers on the Chain Letters theme music is now a singer on Strictly Come Dancing his name is Lance Ellington the other singer is Miriam Stockley.
-

They sound like the same singers who sang the theme to Give Us A Clue.

@MrBacktothenineties, It was a really lovely day filming up in Newcastle. Nice hotel, nice bunch of people- we filmed about 3 episodes that afternoon. When I spoke to Vince Henderson in London a few years back he asked if he was nice to me when I was on the show. When he said yes he seemed surprised and said he was horrid to some of the people- but not the experience I had. I have a copy of the episode on VHS, but nothing to play it on in the house- might ask my in laws to transfer to DVD

I was on Chain Letters in the early 90's, but when the host had changed to Vince Henderson (last seen juggling in Covent Garden 2008).And I won !
