Jim's Original Maxwell Street Polish Sausage sandwich has been in existence for 70 years. For those who remember the old Maxwell Street Market before the UIC expansion project took over, remembers the aroma smell of onions filling the streets.
I have been a fan since my very first bite in 1989.
I remember my father back in the day showing me the ropes how to hustle prices on starter jackets and nike shoes at the markets.

I miss the taste of my home town so bad I've copied the recipes for the Chicago Dogs, Polishes & Those wonderfully drippy Italian beefs!!! There are some guy from Chicago doing it Chi-Style in Houston At BB's Beef & Hot Dog that have mastered the taste of Maxwell St & moved it to Houston!!! 11611 West Airport - suit B1 Meadows Pl Tx!!!! I was impressed! I've sampled others who have tried & failed but these guys "Got It Going On"!!!

soy de Celaya y cada que voy a Chicago me la paso comiendo en Jim´s, la últma vez estuve cinco dias y fuí ocho, me encantan los polishes, hot dos y pork chops, voy a comprar una franquicia y la voy a poner en Celaya
