  • How do I see the movie down here in Florida? Really looking forward to seeing this.

  • Attention all YouTubers. If you are in the Detroit area, they are playing this movie at the Detroit Institute of Arts (The "DIA") on April 5th, 2012, 7pm! Go to the DIA website for more info.

I'm definitely going to see this.

  • when will this come out?

  • Tony my friend....doing a great job with this :)

  • About the Grande... Someone asked 'The question is: Were you there?' Well... Yup, with my White Panther button pinned to my Canadian Navy pea coat... Me and Little Debbie from Cincinnati... Caught a ride when we were walkin up Cass (about 3 blocks from Gus' Pizza) with 'Wavy Gravy' who, for some reason, was drivin that old 'Further' bus all by himself... dropped us off right in front....we went up to see Janis and tripped on back to the Castle commune and partied all night with them afterward!

  • my aunts cousin interviwed and directed this!

  • I went to the Grande every weekend from May of 1967 until it closed in 1970; then the Eastown. We who were priviledged to experience the Grande scene, are a special class few of the millions that were and are in America. We were able to witness the death of innocense and the birth of youthful rage through the rock & roll in those hallowed walls that is bruned into our minds, bodies and souls. That short period of history had never before or will every again happen. We are truly the Lucky Few!

  • EXCELLENTLY produced video. I saw The Jeff Beck Group at the Grande and also Ten years After (Alvin Lee is the fastest guitarist I have ever seen, incredible deftness and speed). I got in radio in 1989, after 15 years in printing, and I have had the pleasure of interviewing Nugent and also Dick Wagner of the Frost. Dick lives in Arizona now.

  • Please don't cock this up like they did with the MC5 doco. Someone should put all the great MC5, Stooges footage and put it all out on DVD. All the stuff that wasn't seen in the doco. After seeing some of the other stuff in this that was definately not in the MC5 doco, jeez, those guys left out some way cool shit. Is Fred 'Sonic' Smith not the most out of control cat you ever saw with a guitar. Some of those spins and back bends, damn. Fuck hendrix and Clapton.

  • so, please tell me there is SRC footage, or inteviews of band members???
