After around 4 hours of wipes, I ended up soloing this bad boy. Ever since the two man video came out I wanted to burn some time to solo it, and I ended up going for it this Tuesday. It was a pretty good kill despite the bad luck in the end, (I evacuated the demolisher and ended up on the wrong side). He dropped about 200g and some BoE bracers, making my time spent not completely wasted.
Not fake -- actually super easy now :)

@RawrzGamerz JSYK there are still plenty of bosses that drop a lot of gold that can be killed with small groups or solo. I've solo'd a couple Vault of Archavon bosses, all Tempest Keep raid bosses and Malygos and level 80 Onyxia and they still drop 200-ish apiece. NAxx bosses too. Surprised they would nerf this particular boss since most of the nerfs were BC and Vanilla bosses...

@alemaite ya i think it was patch 4.2 or before that, they nerfed all old world boss gold drops since you can 3 man stuff, i did a 3 man Onyxia lolz

just did it too. took me freaking 4 hours to figure it out for some reason I didnt do enough damage as a prot warrior. If you're doing ti for gold he now only drops 10g
