The Wek is a tributary of the great Moose River drainage that flows into the south end of James Bay, Moosenee, Ontario. The St. Lawrence Outdoor Program ran the river most recently in 2006.

My brother and I ran this river from Detour Lake Road to Moosonee (tip to toe) back around 1998. Memorable, tested our limits, but we were in over our heads. It's not recommended as a one-canoe trip by novices.
