Hey guy, just say CONGRATULATIONS!! Who the f.u.c.k is gonna get stoned or try pot? What you do is really psychodelic for a brain... Plz, give us more coooool stuff like that. We both enjoy that!
And...Delorean is...a must-have in such a tech guy like you, so...do not care comments. I also saw The Goonies...jeje We've grown with these kinda films!

What microphone are you using? It sounds great!

@luminus69 I use an Audio Technica ATR-3350 lavalier (lapel) mic clipped onto my shirt collar. The mic is connected to a Zoom Handy H4 recorder, and so I record separate mp3 files from the video, and must synchronize them in my video editor program. This involves some extra work, but I've gotten pretty fast at it, and the audio quality is pretty good. The mic itself is entry-level, and its output is not very linear over normal frequencies, nor is its output level very high. It does the job.

@artifactingreality Heh,no. I was drilling and tapping some holes in the secondary detector housing and was using a compressed air nozzle to blow the chips out of the hole. Without thinking, I turned the detector over, and aimed the compressed air nozzle at the phosphor screen. It blew away 80% of the phosphor coating in a puff of dust. Oops. I was absolutely amazed that it still works at all.
