I am so glad Nancy Wilson decided to pick up a guitar when she was a kid. I just love the way she plays, I could listen to her play all day.

I can't believe I'm sitting here in my living room and watching Nancy jammin' two feet in front of me...I'm in heaven...love Heart!

Man, it sounds like Heart with Joni Mitchell singing - why hasn't she done WAY more solo stuff?

Nancy is the coolest lady rocker!

@wsidechris Nancy and Ann had the same percussion device when they went on their 1999 tour, so I am sure it is part of their equipment.

@lovesheart It occurred to me yesterday that it wasn't the stage she was using. How could I forget--she had a big wooden wedge that she used for her percussion. Not sure if she was touring with it, or if it just happened to be there. But she was a one-woman song machine that night. She casually threw in that it was her birthday, which means the date was 3/16/99. Her soft yet confident personality is so disarmingly lovely.

wow i am loving this song
If you like this, get her "live at Mccabes guitarshop CD". One of my favorite all time discs, it nancy playing original and covers on acoustic and the sound is exceptional. I feel it is by far her best work, and you really get a sense of what a fantastic player she is on that disc. Buy it and thank me later!

Wow, I have only heard this once in my life. I saw her solo show at The Bottom Line in NYC in 1999 (on her birthday, what a memorable night that was). What was great about this song is that she used her foot on the stage floor for a drumbeat. The stage was wood with enough hollowness to create amazing acoustics. Anyway, when she'd get to that chorus, there would be this deep resonating pound that made the song so chilling and has haunted me since.
