These are actions that should become 2nd nature. Bijan starts with simple deceptions then takes double deceptions when necessary and parry riposte if required (hitting flank when it is open)--I correct his hand when he takes his sixte parry too far back. The close-out in sixte is a great action against a long straight arm....

  • the student needs to keep his shoulder back while in en garde and his hand placement doesnt matter as long as he isnt covering target. just sayin...

  • A pleasant watch, pupil and teacher are tuned in well with each other. Form is not perfect mayhap, but you both seem to be having a lot of fun. Nice pace in your training, thanks for sharing!
